A just perfect way to end my xmas. Delightful boutique hotel for celebrating birthday. Brilliant food served, like cereal and porridge. Central location in an upmarket establishment. And close enough to the actual pub which is a traditional pub: Log fire roaring, board games, books, very comfortable and a good selection of drinks.

The bed in our room was comfy and we had a good night's sleep. , the breakfast spread was decent and they had a variety of options. The location was convenient for exploring the surrounding countryside.
The room was not very clean upon arrival and we had to ask for cleaning supplies to do it ourselves. We found that some of the amenities that were advertised were not actually available or were not functioning properly.
